Contest/Giveaways

The main focus of our YouTube channel @yesiplayguitar and our soon to be Rumble channel is reviewing guitar gear. The Contest/Giveaways are related to those videos. For one the prizes are usually a piece of gear that we reviewed on the channel.

Contest/Giveaways are triggered by an event usually having to do with our channel. This could be reaching a certain number of subscribers or a number of views for a specific video or group of videos.

We ask participants to Subscribe to our channel. Subscribing is not required but will help us grow the channel and will help us giveaway more gear, and bigger gear, in more contest/giveaways, more often in the future.

As well as subscribing to our channel, clicking the bell for notifications will alert you to new videos as they are posted. Each new video is another entry you can claim for the current Contest/Giveaway.

Prizes

The gear we review is usually what becomes the prizes. This could be a pedal, a guitar or other guitar gear we have or will review. Prizes are not alway new out of the box. All have been used for a review and some might be older classic gear.

Some prizes may have shipping restrictions. This could be an issue of shipping cost, a tariff or a restriction on shipping from the U.S. to a location. We will try and list all shipping restrictions on the Contest/Giveaway Enrollment pages.

Drawings

The Drawing for each Contest/Giveaway will be livestreamed on YouTube, Rumble (coming soon) and TikTok. During this livestream we may award other prizes to entrants watching. Drawings will be announced upon the Contest/Giveaway Trigger being met. The Drawing is an actual drawing with each of entry being a piece of paper that will randomly be selected in some manner.

We will try and make Drawings entertaining without going overboard.

Drawings will also be posted on our YouTube channel for those that were unable to watch live. Note the music portion of the drawing may be left due to copyright issues.

Winners will be notified by email or phone depending upon what information they have provided. When possible we would like to interview winners either on a livestream or other manner.

Registration

Registration gives you access to Contest, Free Lessons/Courses and Paid Lessons/Courses. It also allows us to keep track of your Contest/Drawing Entries as well as being able to contact you if you are a winner.

Registering is easy. All you need is your name an email address and a password. The video below shows how to register.

Enrolling in Contest/Giveaway

Each contest/giveaway is available for anyone to enroll. Any prize shipping restrictions will be noted on the enrollment page for a contest/giveaway prize with special requirements.

Enrolling allows you to access the Entries. You may generate multiple entries for many of the contest/giveaways.

Enrolling is as simple as clicking a button or tapping on the screen. The video below will walk you through Enrolling.

Entering Contest/Giveaways

Entries are earned by those that follow us on YouTube and/or Rumble (coming soon). With each Gear Review Video that we post you have an opportunity to generate an Entry for the current Contest/Giveaway.

As stipulated above our Contest/Giveaways are triggered by an event. This could be reaching a certain number of subscribers or a number of views for a specific video or group of videos.

Entries are generated by watching one of our posted gear review videos and then taking a short quiz on that video. The videos may contain easter eggs or audio clips randomly insterted throughout. The quiz will ask you about the video content including easter eggs and audio clips.
