When I began playing I had to listen to a record over and over again just to figure out a couple of bars of a song. Over the years I studied tablature in magazines, took lessons from a 5 time Flat Picker Champion, attended Atlanta Institute of Music. I’ve met guitarist with names like Eddie, Steve and few you’ve never heard of.
Of all my experiences I’ve discovered one thing… true players train every chance they get. Some call it a warm-up others call it noodling. Training is the art of repetition to the point of developing a skill without remembering the lesson.
